I’m MeShawn Dimos, and I have spent much of my life between Guam and California, with Paso Robles and North San Luis Obispo County as my home for the past 24 years.

I believe in being resourceful, speaking plainly, enjoying the people I work with, and bringing both common sense and good humor to whatever is in front of me.

Over the years, I have found that people often value my perspective, my ability to see the bigger picture, and my knack for turning ideas or loose ends into practical next steps. Sometimes that means helping organize a project. Sometimes it means coordinating details or sorting through information. And sometimes it simply means listening while someone works through what is on their mind.

The Story Behind 2 Tropical Gals

For more than 20 years, my mother has faced significant health challenges, and I have been closely involved in supporting and caring for her throughout that journey. As her needs have increased, I have made the decision to spend more time by her side while also expanding my own work in a way that allows for greater flexibility.

Today, the services offered through this website are centered on me as an independent consultant. The name 2 Tropical Gals remains an important part of my story because it reflects my family, my roots, the community relationships my mother and I built together, and the spirit of service I continue to carry forward in my work.

Experience and Perspective

I have done a lot of different things over the years, and I consider that one of my greatest strengths. My background includes real estate, military civilian service, office management, nonprofit leadership, event coordination, employee benefits, identity theft education, and small business support.

I spent 10 years working alongside soldiers at Camp Roberts in a civilian role, gaining a genuine familiarity with military culture, direct communication, and the administrative demands that often come with military service and military family life.

I have also gained firsthand perspective through years of helping my family navigate significant health challenges and major life transitions. While I do not provide medical or caregiving services, those experiences have strengthened my ability to remain steady and practical when circumstances are sensitive, emotional, or complicated.

Through my work as a LegalShield Independent Associate since 2013, along with years of involvement in local business and nonprofit organizations, I have developed strong relationships throughout North County and beyond. I appreciate the value of knowing people, knowing the community, and knowing when a situation calls for a qualified professional.

Along the way, I have been honored to receive recognition including:

• Templeton Chamber of Commerce Ambassador of the Year

I have also served multiple terms as volunteer President of the Templeton Women’s Charitable Club.

How I Work

I am practical, straightforward, and good at seeing the bigger picture, especially when someone is too close to an idea or situation to see all of the pieces clearly.

I enjoy working with people on projects and priorities that matter to them. Sometimes that means working side by side to organize details and determine next steps. Sometimes it means taking a specific project or administrative task off someone’s plate and handling it with care. And sometimes it means listening, asking useful questions, and helping someone find clarity before moving forward.

I take my work seriously, but I do not believe the process has to be stiff or unpleasant. I appreciate a good sense of humor, clear communication, and working with people who value a practical, down-to-earth approach.

Most importantly, I believe the work needs to be a good fit. My goal is not to take on every problem or every project. It is to bring my experience, perspective, and follow-through to situations where I can be genuinely useful.
